Lamar CHS students earn honors at National Technology Students Association

Students from Lamar Consolidated High School brought home honors from the Technology Student Association’s National Conference.

Meeting with and competing against 4,300 students from all 50 states and Germany, the team earned three 2nd-place finishes and one 8th-place.

Lamar CHS took the State Title at the State TSA Conference and 21 LCHS students qualified for Nationals, held June 28 – July 2 in Baltimore.

The team of Gregory Heugel and Grayson Clark finished 2nd in Debating Technological Issues.

Heugel also earned 2nd in Extemporaneous Speech.

The team of Andrew Fails, Alise Isaksen and Mitchell Williams took 2nd in Scientific and Technical Visualization.

Federico Chow finished 8th in Transportation Modeling.

Kristin Rausch is the advisor for the LCHS TSA.
